Each year India Trade Promotion Organization conduct World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan.
World Book Fair plays a vital role in promoting reading habits among people of all age group. Apart from promoting reading habit and literacy, the fair presents a wide range of Indian Books as well as international writing on the various subject. The Fair is fully loaded with major Indian / international publishers, innovative stationery, cultural performance and much more at World Book Fair 2019.
The Fair is expected to gather substantial footfall.
It is fair with over 1300 stalls, you will get to see the participation of more than 600 publishers and 250 culture programmers. Hindi language publishers at Hall 12A, English language publishers at Hall 8-11 &12, Children’s publishers at Hall 7D, FGH. The Children’s pavilion hanger near Hall 7H, Foreign pavilion at hall 7ABC and Theme pavilion Hall 7E.
The current world book fair occupies few halls while the previous world book fair editions were spanned across several halls due to the reconstruction going go in the other parts of the Pragati Maidan.
