Padmavati

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film in Bollywood  “Padmavati”  that ran into trouble with Rajput Karni Sena. The Central Board of Film Certification, popularly called the censor board has imposed the ban on the movie. This film is based on the legendary 13th-century queen Padmini of Chittor, mostly Rajput groups, say Padmavati wrongly implies a romantic relationship between the queen and Emperor Alauddin Khilji, the all-powerful Delhi Sultan. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has repeatedly denied the allegation and recently released a video clarifying that his film does not distort history.

Lipstick Under My Burkha

Director Alankrita Shrivastava’s ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ was banned by the central board of film certification, the reason why this movie got banned by CBC was that in this movie there are some explicit sex scenes and abusive words used in it. After doing few cuts in the movie, This movie went on to do decent business at the box-office becoming one of the sleeper hits of 2017.

Udta Punjab

Udta Punjab film in Bollywood totally based on drugs and life of teenagers in Punjab. It is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. It is a Balaji motion picture.

The movie from its first trailer comes under controversy due to the scene that includes rough language and thriller in it. That it may disturb the spectators.

Due to this, the Censor Board of India take a closer look at the movie and also cut many scenes from the movie and after that, they banned the movie.

Bandit Queen is a biographical film based on a true story which shows the life of Phoolan Devi it hits the cinema in the year of 1994, it is directed by Shekar Kapur.

It faces the protest of real-life Phoolan Devi and her supporter because of its disturbing scenes in it. Later it banned for some period of time.
