Importance-of-Writing-your-Goals

We all have dreams which we want to achieve or fulfill, but we forget to set our goals and the main thing is we never write down those goals either. Have you ever thought about writing your goals? Well study says 87 % of the people has no goals at all, whereas 13% has goals but they don’t write it on paper so they won’t able to keep tab upon their goals and lose their dreams too, but 3% of the people actually set goals that were committed on paper and had set their plans to accomplish them.

Those people who come in the category of 3% had committed towards their goals written on paper. They had actually been making more money than the 97% put together. So, it’s really beneficial for everyone to write their goals and make a plan to achieve it. A goal without a plan is a wish. Tony Robbins said “ Setting goals is the first step into Turing the invisible into the visible.

Will writing your goals you can ask few questions to yourself. Asking these question to yourself will benefit you to select the right goals.

  • Are your goals too vague and are they are not specific enough?

Your goals must be specific. For example, you want to become rich but how much rich or how much money to want to earn that is not specified by it.

Taking another example like, I want to buy a new smartphone, which I have specified like iPhone X of grey color. So, it’s the basic difference between specific goals and unspecific goals. So try to be specific regarding your goals if you really want to all the benefits.

  • Are your goals too grand to be achievable?

Bill Gates said “ People overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years”

What you need is little pieces of action on daily basis to achieve your goals as well even a 1%  improvement on a daily basis can change a lot of things. Are you aware of where you have to go, that you need to reach a particular destination?

  • Are you surrounded by the right people and are you influenced by the right people?

If you want to achieve any goals in your life you have to learn to achieve it by the right people. For example, you want to be rich the people around you are not that rich which you want to become you can suddenly shift your house to an area where rich people live, or can’t meet them but you can learn from them. It not possible to be with rich people all the time. But you can learn from experts in that field such as you can go through the stories of Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Dhirubhai  Ambani and many more. You can read about all the rich successful persons.

You need to get inspired by your goals every day and if you’re feeding to your mind that your Goals are too far away from you then definitely get a tangible outcome is too far a distance too. You need to make its closer. So, start writing your goals which is surely going to help you out.
